Takeaways Take Pressure Off Your Time When Preparing For A Night Out

When I’m going out the simplest thing to do is get fast food delivered rather than faff around with all the cooking myself, I just don’t have the time! Making a whole meal would take ages peeling, chopping and scraping when I can just call up one of our local Glasgow delivery takeaways and have something brought to the door while I get on with fixing my hair and makeup.

When I lived in London getting food like aChinese food was a bit harder, I lived in a high rise flat, great views over the entire city but getting people to bring your food up twenty flights of stairs when the lift was broken was a feat that was beyond human capacity! So there I am, dolled up to the nines with my hair in curlers and my nails drying running down the stairs twos and threes at a time because if I don’t the delivery guy is going to leaving my pork Kung Po lying around for the next chancer with a taste for fast food to come and leg it with. They’ve been pranked so many times around there that you have to pay with your credit card over the phone so the takeaway’s all bought and paid for. The delivery rider’s not going to take it back to the shop, he’ll just leave it at the bottom of the stairs rather than get rolled for his cash, not that he’s got any. But the gangs don’t know that do they.

That was back when I lived in Wandsworth, over in the west of London. The Wandsworth takeaways were always great. It didn’t matter what you went for they were always so tasty and delivered quickly. So long as you ate it carefully and didn’t get sauce all down your front you could just eat and run. Any slips twixt cup and lip and you could be held up for hours!
